Trial and price
A new paid-edition installation receives a seven-day trial beginning with its first successful video playback. No payment details are required to start the trial. When the trial ends, continuing casting playback requires a purchase. You will not be charged automatically.
The one-time price is $4.99 USD to unlock casting and supported playback controls on one active TV. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. PayPal displays the available payment methods and confirms your payment. Activation is issued after the server verifies the payment; a cancelled or pending payment does not activate paid access.
Compatibility
Try your intended phone app and videos before purchasing. The phone app must support DLNA casting, both devices must be on the same home network, and the TV must support the video source and format. Seeking is not available for every video. AirPlay, Chromecast and protected video are not supported. Media access and any subscriptions remain your responsibility; SeekCast does not provide content.
Restore or move a purchase
Save the private recovery code on your receipt. After reinstalling or changing TVs, open Purchase & restore, scan the TV code and choose Restore or redeem a code on your phone. Enter the recovery code and, if moving TVs, explicitly confirm the move. One purchase may be active on one TV at a time. A move removes that purchase's access from the previous TV, although an independently valid trial or pre-existing free entitlement may still apply there.
Internet access is required for purchase and restoration. If you lose your recovery code, contact support with your PayPal transaction reference so we can investigate the purchase. Do not share your recovery code publicly.
Complimentary access codes
A valid gift code activates one TV without a payment. Each code can be redeemed once before its stated redemption deadline. Save the separate recovery code shown after activation to restore or move access. Complimentary access may be revoked by the issuer; no purchase price was charged or is refundable for it. The same online verification and one-active-TV limits apply.
Connection requirements
Starting a trial and verifying or restoring a purchase require access to our activation service. Paid access can continue offline for up to seven days after a successful online verification; trial access for up to one day and never beyond the trial expiry. These are verification intervals, not recurring billing periods. If the verification period expires, reconnect before continuing playback. Refunds or transfers are reflected after an online check or when cached access expires.
Seven-day refund guarantee
To request a refund of the purchase price, email hzlinj@126.com within seven days after purchase with your PayPal transaction reference. Support handles the refund through PayPal; there is no automatic refund button in the app. A refunded purchase loses its paid access. PayPal and your payment provider determine when the refunded funds appear. This guarantee does not limit rights that apply under law.
Existing free installations
When an existing free installation updates with its app data preserved, its free casting and playback controls remain available without starting a paid trial. This status is stored on the TV. Uninstalling or clearing app data can remove it, and automatic recovery of the free-edition marker after that removal is not currently supported. A purchased licence can be restored separately using its recovery code.
